About the Course
Become and competent navigator. GPS navigation is only as good as your skills with a map and compass. This combined course offers one day of comprehensive learning of map and compass skills, followed by one day learning GPS . Take both course and save money!

What you need to know:
Prerequisite:
No previous skills required. An adventurous spirit is an asset.
Physical Difficulty:
Walking through thick bush at times up to 1km on uneven terrain.
Included:
Compass, GPS, Instruction and supporting material. Compass is supplied or bring your own. The course is taught based on the supplied GPS.
What’s not Included:
Transportation, food, parking fees, or accommodation.

Part 1: Online Module(s) – To be completed before October 16th
Part 2: Instructor Lead Online Session October 16th, 6:30PM to 9:30PM
Part 3: Practical Session – Halton Hills area October 19th and 20th – Exact location will be emailed prior to start
